Empire State of Mind – Alicia Keys feat. Stephen Colbert (not a typo)
“Home theater system 60inch plasma clean suburban air much better for my asthma” – Stephen Colbert
I want to see Colbert, Asher Roth and Eminem all on the same song. They should form a group and call it Milk of Magnesia. I absolutely love these dudes!

Racism Lurks After Election
Posted by Tito Vaselina in politics on November 13th, 2008
We are fastly approaching the year 2009. Why is this significant? Because it has been 144 years since slavery ended, which was supposed to signify the mental shift away from racism in North America.
Although, many states in the union have come a long way in their treatment of people of color, the evil still remains and rears its ugly head every now and again.
Most recently a University of Texas football player named Buck Burnette garnered national attention for making racist comments. Burnette admitted to updating his FaceBook status to read “all the hunters gather up, we have a #$%&er in the whitehouse” shortly after Barack Obama was elected president of the U.S. Consequently, he was dismissed from the team.
THEN… (as if that wasn’t enough) while I was reading the New York Times on Tuesday (because I try and get my education on every so often) I came across an article about Southern politics where a gentleman (and I use the term loosely) Don Dollar (the administrative assistant at City Hall in a small Alabama city) said that anyone not upset with Mr. Obama’s victory should seek religious forgiveness. WTF!!!
PEOPLE… we’re talking about something very simple here… complexion! Why is that a reason to HATE or DISLIKE anyone? Everyone in this country (probably even the world) has many shades in their lineage. We’re all one big melting pot of cultures, races and scoio-economic backgrounds.
Cut the B.S. and get busy LOVIN you senseless BASTARDS!
McCain Poop Parade
Posted by Tito Vaselina in interesting, nutty, politics on October 22nd, 2008
A most radical individual out in Venice, CA is placing flags on unsuspecting turds to show his opinion of John McCain.
Not only is he making art out of random turds, but he’s also giving passerby’s a clearer warning of these random street poops (yes that is the plural) so they don’t have messy shoes.
As grotesque as the idea of poop is, it’s even dirtier when you add a splash of McCain on top.

Palin Wants Blood… Sexy or Scary?
Posted by Tito Vaselina in politics on October 22nd, 2008
This might be scary to some, but to me it’s all the more attractive! Go Palin, Go Palin!
Although, I doubt she’d be able to serve this country as a Vice President (let alone President) I still think she gets the award for Political MILF of the Year.
Check out www.FrighteningProspect.com for how you can wheat paste your own posters around your town. Of course… I accept no responsibility for any illegal acts any of my readers commit.

I don’t usually condone such harsh subject matter… BUT as WRONG and insensitive as this post is it is just as funny and creative. SO THERE!
Now that I got my disclaimer out of the way, ENJOY!

AIG Bailout SUCKS
Posted by Tito Vaselina in interesting, politics on October 1st, 2008

Check out this email I got today. Pretty interesting thinking here (although… the math is off, dummy).
Are you against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG?
Instead, let’s give $85,000,000,000 to America in a “We Deserve It Dividend”.
To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bona fide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon. That equals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a “We Deserve It Dividend”.
Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife has $595,000.00.
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
- - Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved
- - Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads
- - Put away money for college – it’ll be there
- - Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs
- - Buy a new car – create jobs
- - Invest in the market – capital drives growth
- - Pay for your parent’s medical insurance – health care improves
- - Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – or else
Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.
If we’re going to re-distribute wealth let’s really do it… instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( “vote buy” ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.
If we’re going to do an $85 billion bailout, let’s bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!
As for AIG – liquidate it. Sell off its parts. Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate. Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.
Here’s my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn’t. Sure it’s a crazy idea that can “never work.” But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!
How do you spell Economic Boom?
I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion “We Deserve It Dividend” more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC.
And remember, The Family plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.
Ahhh… I feel so much better getting that off my chest.
Kindest personal regards…
A Creative Guy & Citizen of the Republic
