Ara Abrahamian was pissed yesterday when he was up on the podium receieving his 3rd place Olympic medal.

So mad in fact that once he was given his prize he walked off the podium and slammed the bronze medal down on the mat.

Apparently the Swede was upset at what he called an “unjust” decision in one of his matches (read the full story here).

The always entertaining and highly productive Manny Ramirez is allegedly positioning himself to join the Yankees this off-season according to the NY Post.

The George Washington High School (saludos a Washington Heights) looks to get even with his former employer for all those differences they’ve had. As well he should!

The guy is a PHENOM! Every pitcher in the league is scared of him. He’s arguably the Babe of his era. If all this talk of trade to the Yankees does result in Manny coming to the Bronx I smell the “curse” coming back in FULL FORCE!

I can hear it now… “Nineteen Eighteen… Two Zero Zero Nine.”

A buddy of mine (who shall remain nameless)… ah what the hell… his name is Cruz (don’t be fooled by the name, he’s a certified meat head)… comes to mind when I see this video.

He’s the typical Italiano pumping iron (no roids though… so he says), having lots of sexy time (at least before he got serious with his Ms.) and crushing beer cans on his forehead.

However, he holds a nice gig (NYC Firefighter) and is a stand up guy. The best man at my wedding in fact.

I’m sure the word has already spread about this crazy SH**!

I haven’t seen the infamous video, but as I understand it someone chops off his “member”. Now… I tried to view the video, but after a few seconds I couldn’t bare the thought of even seeing such a thing.

I couldn’t help but clench my little soldier tightly and promise him I would defend him against any Lorena Bobbit type of atrocities.

With the Olympics in full bloom I thought it would be appropriate to highlight those instances in sports that were painful. And no… I’m not just talking about losing a close game.

At work I get the phrase “Manny being Manny” tossed my way all too often (cuz my government name is actually Manny). So… I decided, why not make an image to speak to it.

Although a meager attempt with Photoshop, you get the point. Both Ramirez and I share a commonality… we just do as we do and don’t care what they say. Too bad he tarnished our name with that blasted BOSTON logo.
